Thomas E. Langley Medical Center Sumterville, Florida Located in a rural area of Central Florida, the building program was to provide a multi-purpose facility which would offer health and human services to the community of Sumterville and its outlying areas. The various services provided by departments off a central mall design include Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Behavior Health, Nursing & Medical Director, Urgent Care, Transcriptions, Medical Suites 1, 2 & 3 for Internal Medicine, Referrals, Admin & Central Records Storage, Dental, Pharmacy, Family Practice, MRI & CT Scanning, and X-Ray. Total Sq. Ft.: 40,000 Structural System: Slab on grade; Load bearing steel roof joists and metal deck Exterior Walls: Concrete Masonry KD Revell Public Health Facility Wauchula, Florida This award winning facility is located on a 16 acre irregular shaped site adjoining natural wetlands. The building responds to the landscape and creates separate wings of service while focusing views toward the wetlands in the rear. The central rotunda controls circulation and providing a clear entry focal point. Program Activities: Family Health Services Nursing/Administration Clinical Services Medical Records Total Sq. Ft.: 33,000 Structural System: Load bearing masonry Exterior Walls: Stucco, metal roof Hendry County Public Health Facility Clewiston, Florida This project totals 18,000 sq. ft. which includes an administration department, a complete nursing wing, reception and records storage area, environmental health department and a women's infant care facility. A few of the building's features include a spacious entry/reception area, open courtyard for employees and customers and a drive-up/pick-up window for patient convenience. The building site is located in close proximity to the local medical facility which includes emergency services. Total Sq.
