Fruitland Park Library - Fruitland Park, Florida

Paul W. Portal was the Architect of Record for this new public library. The facility provides for collections, public meeting space, public computer access and seating areas for leisure reading, study and a discrete children's library.

The interior concept revolves around a centralized service point, providing maximum supervision with minimum staff size.

Library West - University of Florida - Gainesville, Florida

Library West is the premier library collection for the University of Florida. This expansion will add 60,000 gsf of new stack shelving and allow for more "people" space. This significant project will expand the Library to house 1600+ student seating for study and general use. The project also includes the complete interior remodeling including 117,000 gsf of existing space. The remodeling portion will create a clear, strong sense of entry. It will express invitation, excitement and intellectual stimulation and provide glimpses of content.

Alachua Branch Library

Paul W. Portal was the Architect of Record for this new public library. The facility is sited and designed especially to meet the needs of children's programs and studies in a growing family community.

The interior concept and building form allows expansion to more than 10,000 square feet while maintaining a centralized circulation desk and staff work area.
